Welcome to Grassfield!
Our little church sits in the middle of what used to be a dairy farm! Though we are now surrounded by houses instead of cows, we still like the country feel of our church and we hope you will too. Our worship style is informal; we still sing hymns with occasional contemporary music and offer children’s church for our little ones. Sunday School starts at 9:45 am. When you arrive, you will find visitor parking available for you.
If you are worrying about what to wear, don’t! We welcome jeans, casual clothing as well as sport coats and ties. You will see a variety of clothing worn at our services and we would encourage you to be yourself. We do ask that apparel be modest in appearance.
The picture below will give you an idea of what the building looks like, the shrubs are gone and the new parking lot is raised some above the building in the front, but otherwise the architecture is pretty much the same. You will notice the doors have been replaced with glass doors at the front of the building.
If you arrive at 9:45 for Sunday school, enter the building through the entrance that is closest to Moses Grandy. There will generally be someone there to greet you, but if not just come on in.
The first office on your right as you enter is the pastor’s office and he will be glad to assist you in finding a class or classes for you and your family to plug into.
If you arrive at 1100 for Worship, enter at the door with the steeple over it.
If you arrive late, the door may be locked for security reasons. Please don’t be embarrassed. Just knock and someone will let you in.
If you are coming for the first time on a Wednesday night, you can enter at either door. Once inside follow your nose to the coffee area. The fellowship hall where the Bible study is held is near the coffee area. Feel free to grab a cup, (decaf on Wednesday nights), on your way in.
